On board view of lift off from the surface of the Moon. The first twenty seconds of the view shows the shadow of the LEM on the surface and some exploration debris left behind. A brief break in the film coverage misses the actual moment of ignition before the camera is started again a few seconds into lift off to see the shadow of the upper stage on the surface as the LEM climbs back into orbit. About thirty seconds into the clip the LEM tips over showing a vertiginous view of the descent stage still sitting on the surface. The wheel tracks of the Lunar Rover left in the dust curve around it and head off in each direction. The camera continues to run for another three minutes as the LEM rises higher into the sky and on into orbit, crossing mare, craters, mountains and other lunar terrain.
