Spectacular low altitude flight across the lunar terrain which begins looking straight down onto the surface. The shot tilts up to see the lunar horizon, and a bright spot of the Sun can be seen skimming across the surface beneath the spacecraft as dramatic craters and plains pass beneath. As the orbit continues the Sun angle grows and the shadows extend in length accentuating the rugged lunar mountain ranges beneath. At the end of the clip the spacecraft has tilted right back into the Sun and reflections of the crew (Tom Stafford and Gene Cernan) moving around inside the Lunar Module can be glimpsed.
