Two men kissing. Thermographic footage of a man in a same-sex relationship putting his arm around his lover as they kiss. A thermogram shows variation in temperature on the surface of an object, measured by the long-wave infrared radiation it emits. The temperature scale is colour-coded from black (cold) through blue, green and yellow to red and white (hottest). This thermogram footage shows that hair is colder than exposed skin, and that the arm, nose and ears are colder than the torso and the rest of the face.
