World's ten highest mountains,labelled on a relief map of the Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges in Asia. Nine are in the Himalayas,with one (K2) in the Karakoram. They are: Everest,K2,Kangchenjunga,Lhotse,Makalu,Cho Oyu,Dhaulagiri,Manaslu,Nanga Parbat,and Annapurna. All are all over 8000 metres in elevation. Five are located on international borders (red dotted lines): K2 on the Pakistan-China border; Everest,Lhotse and Makalu on the Nepal-China border; and Kangchenjunga on the Nepal-India border.
