White-spotted guitarfish (Rhynchobatus australiae) on the seabed, swimming away as the camera approaches. This is a type of ray, a relative of the sharks. It can reach a length of up to three metres but is harmless to humans. It feeds mainly on bivalves, crustaceans and bottom-dwelling fish. Filmed off the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. | |
