Bactrian camel (Camelus bactrianus), showing its two humps. The humps serve as a fat store, and are flaccid like this when they are not full of fat. This large camel is native to the steppes of central Asia, although the wild population is nearly extinct. Many domesticated and feral animals exist, however.
