Flat rock scorpion (Hadogenes troglodytes) scurrying across rocks in search of shade. Scorpions have eight legs and belong to the arachnids, the same class that includes spiders. This species is native to most of southern Africa and its flattened body is ideal for slipping into narrow cracks and crevices. | |
