Silver orb weaver spider (Argiope sp.) rushes down web to find fly that has just landed there. The spider then bites the fly and wraps it in silk. The bodies of these spiders can reach more than 25 mm across and can be found throughout much of the southeastern U.S. and elsewhere. | |
