Panagrellus redivivus is a free-living nematode similar in appearance to C. elegans and, like them, are sometimes used in genetic analysis studies. They can reach lengths of a millimeter or longer and are a popular aquarium food. Visible within a few of them are a number of larvae in pretzel-shape stage. Recorded under Nomarski DIC illumination. | |
