| Implant-supported dental bridge. Animation showing an implant-supported dental bridge being fitted to replace three teeth. This procedure is carried out to replace more than one adjacent lost teeth. Three titanium implants are inserted into the jaw bone and left in place for a number of months to allow the bone to fuse with the implant, a process known as osseointegration.
