To the right of it is Mr Gaffney's Lodge, where the Provost's stables once stood. On the extreme right is the lamp-post known as the Burning Bush. On the extreme left, where the New Schools are now, was once Bethell's house, where Shelley boarded. Watercolour by Edith Danvers Brinton from 'Eton' by Christopher Reynolds Stone, published in 1909. Eton College is a public school in Berkshire, UK. It was founded in 1440 by Henry VI under the name Kynge's College of Our Ladye of Eton besyde Windesore.
