Light micrograph with linear kappa immunofluorescence staining of a glomerulus (central circular structure) in anti-glomerular basement membrane (anti-GBM or Goodpasture’s) kidney disease. This staining pattern seen by immunofluorescence shows linear staining of the glomerular basement membrane (bright green lines). The left space of the glomerulus is dim because it is occupied by a crescent (another feature of anti-GBM kidney disease). Magnification: x200 when printed at 10cm wide.
