However, it doesn't mean cancer and it doesn't mean that it will develop into cancer, but rather it's a precancerous condition. Cervical dysplasia is also known as cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Treatment includes cryosurgery, which freezes abnormal cells, and laser therapy.
