Netted hedges. Hedges are 'netted' to prevent breeding birds nesting and delaying the building programme of domestic homes in early springtime. In addition trees have been strimmed prior to removal to maximise space for new homes. This is a building development, where a legal loophole is being used to avoid a law which can slow the process of building because of the presence of breeding birds.
