Asian dobsonfly (Acanthacorydalis fruhstorferi). This species is the largest dobsonfly in the world. It is found in eastern China and northern Vietnam. The males have large mandibles (jaws) which are used when competing with each other for females. The males will try to place their long mandibles underneath the body of the opponent in order to flip him into the air. | |
