SpaceX rocket integration hall at KSC.
The SpaceX rocket integration hall adjacent to Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The building is used to assemble the stages of the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets prior to transporting them to the launch pad. LC39A was used previously to launch Saturn V Moon rockets and the Space Shuttle and was leased to SpaceX in 2014. Space Exploration Technologies Corp was founded by Elon Musk in 2002. In this panoramic image the pad's rotating service structure, used for the Shuttle, is still in place.
