MODEL RELEASED. Leg wound following a fall. Haematoma (internal bleeding) in a large wound on the lower leg (calf) of an 82-year-old man after a fall at home. The haematoma is where blood has clotted after internal bleeding from broken blood vessels. The injury occurred after a fall through a loft ceiling while doing home improvements (DIY).
