Native to the Chihuahuan desert regions of New Mexico, Texas and Mexico, growing in elevations of 2, 000 to 7, 000 feet, Damianita (Chrysactinia mexicana) is a tough ground cover. It is drought-tolerant, and able to survive in the extreme heat and cold of the desert Southwest. | |
