Printed patent drawings of the electromagnetic systems used by the improved telegraphy machine invented by Scottish-born Canadian-US engineer and inventor Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922). This invention would become known as the telephone. The patent ensured that Bell and his company were able to make millions of dollars from developing and selling the new invention.
