Zero gravity 3D printing tests, 2017. 3D Printer during testing by researchers from the Microgravity Science Glovebox (MSG) Engineering Unit at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. The 3D Printing In Zero-G Technology Demonstration (3D Printing In Zero-G) experiment demonstrated that a 3D printer works normally in space. This is the microgravity portion of a flight aboard a modified Boeing 727 from the Zero G Corporation, together with the Made In Space company. Similar tests have also been carried out on board the International Space Station (ISS). Image published in 2017. | |
