Wilson Alwyn Bentley (1865-1931), US photographer, operating his camera. Bentley was most famous for his early photographs of snowflakes. Bentley was one of the first people to photograph snowflakes. He attached a microscope to his camera and perfected a technique that allowed him to photograph snowflakes, frost and other ice phenomena before they melted. Bentley lives and worked in Vermont, USA.
