Enrico Ferri (1856-1929), Italian criminologist. Ferri was a student of Italian criminologist and physician Cesare Lombroso (1835-1909), who founded the Italian School of Positivist Criminology. Ferri's research focused on the economic and social elements of crime, through disciplines such as psychology and sociology. His works include 'Criminal Sociology' (1905). Ferri later became a supporter of Italy's National Facist Party, led by Benito Mussolini. | |
