Nasal vestibulitis in a 54-year-old man with Crohn's disease on azathioprine therapy. Nasal vestibulitis is a diffuse dermatitis (skin inflammation) of the front part of the nasal cavity (the nasal vestibule). It is usually, as here, caused by the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus. This case is complicated by the patient taking an immunosuppressant drug (azathioprine) to control his Crohn's disease (an inflammation of the intestines). | |
