Helen Lois Koch (1885-1977), American developmental psychologist. Koch received her PhD from the University of Chicago in 1921. Between 1921 and 1939 she taught at the University of Texas, becoming a full professor in 1928. In 1939 she returned to the University of Chicago as an associate professor in child development. She is best known for her work on sibling order, and the development of identical and fraternal twins. | |
