Acid attack burns. Chemical burns on the chest, back, neck and arm of a 37-year-old man who was the victim of an acid attack. Parts of the skin on his head and face were also burnt. Strong and concentrated acids will cause severe damage to the skin and other human tissues if not diluted and washed away with large amounts of water. The resulting chemical burns cause severe scarring and can be fatal in severe cases. | |
