Anna Chao Pai (born 1935), Chinese-American geneticist, while she was a predoctoral student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, USA. She is explaining the outcomes of cross breeding mutant strains of mice that have an hereditary absence of normal skeletal muscle. Chao Pai was born in Beijing, China. She left China with her parents in the late 1930s. After she received her PhD in 1964 she spent most of her career (1969-1997) as a researcher and then a professor at Montclair State University, New Jersey. In 1974 Chao Pai wrote the genetics textbook Foundations of Genetics"" and in 2009 the science fiction novel ""Choices"" under the pseudonym A.C. White." | |
