| Orion parachute drop testing. Orion spacecraft's crew module landing during a parachute drop test from an altitude of over 7.5 kilometres. There are three main parachutes used here. The test is being conducted at the US Army's Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, USA. Developed by NASA, with a test flight taking place in 2014, the first Orion crewed launches are scheduled for around 2023.
