Dawn breaks through the Llanberis Pass, reflected in the still waters of Llyn Padarn, Wales, UK. Llyn Padarn is a glacially formed lake and is an example of a moraine dammed lake. It is approximately 3.2 kilometres long 29 metres deep, and it is one of the largest natural lakes in Wales. In the distance the Llanberis Pass is bounded by the Glyderau mountains (left) and the Snowdon massif (right). | |
