Wood mouse (Apodemus sylvaticus) on hazel (Corylus sp.) branch. This small rodent is common throughout Europe. Although its natural habitat is in woodland,it is highly adaptable and is now found in a wide variety of habitats. It digs a system of tunnels in which to live,and stores food there for the winter.
