Tree swallow pair (Tachycineta bicolor) perched on a twig. This bird inhabits woodland,forest edges and scrub near water throughout North and Central America. It breeds in the northern parts of its range,as far north as Alaska,USA,and migrates as far south as Colombia for the winter. It gathers in huge flocks for its migration flight.
