Stegosaurus dinosaur model. Stegosaurus was a slow, lumbering dinosaur that measured up to nine metres long. Its feeble jaws and teeth indicate it was a herbivore. The distinctive spines running in two rows along its back are thought to have helped control body temperature by radiating or absorbing heat. Not the most quick-witted of dinosaurs,Stegosaurus had a brain the size of a walnut - a fact that may explain why dinosaurs are often thought of as moronically stupid | |
