Atlantic puffin (Fratercula arctica) in its burrow. This seabird lives on and around the North Atlantic Ocean. It lives primarily on the water and is an excellent swimmer, hunting by chasing small fish underwater. It returns to land for the breeding season, nesting in large clifftop colonies, digging a burrow in which a single egg is laid. Its brightly coloured bill is used in ritual mating displays.
