Springbok defecating (Antidorcus marsupialis). During the mating season male springbok are fiercely territorial. They mark their territory by defecating and urinating and attract females by making a vibrating sound. Springbok are common,but they are dependent on conservation areas for their current distribution. They are characterised by their habit of repetitively leaping into the air.
