African hunting dogs (Lycaon pictus) scent marking a patch of grass. This is done to indicate the ownership of a particular territory. This dog lives in packs of up to 20 individuals,inhabiting the savannah of sub-Saharan Africa. As a pack,it hunts prey up to the size of a large antelope,although smaller animals are also taken.
