Beluga whales. Beluga or white whales (Delphinapterus leucas) surfacing above the water. This whale inhabits the Arctic coasts of Europe,Asia and North America. It lives in a slowly- swimming,mixed sex & age,social group of between 2 and 25 animals. During the winter migration these groups join,forming groups of up to 10,000 whales.
