Common brown lemur (Eulemur fulvus fulvus) in a tree. This lemur is found in north-western areas of Madagascar and on nearby islands. It mainly eats fruit, young leaves and flowers. It lives in a social group of 3-12 individuals that forage through the forest canopies of their range. Destruction of the forests of Madagascar means that this animal is becoming increasingly rare.
