Rook (Corvus frugilegus). A member of the Corvidae family,this species is found in Great Britain and northern and central Europe. There is also a separate race of smaller rooks in Asia. The birds are 45-47 cm in length,and feed mostly on earthworms and insect larvae. They have a raucous croaking call. A group of rooks is known as a 'parliament.'
