A male Tokay (Gekko gecko). This small reptile is found throughout the Indian sub-continent and South-East Asia. The Tokay grows to a length of 40cm,and is often found in or near houses. The male emits a barking sound at the time of the mating season between March and May,the female is mute. They are mainly nocturnal,with a diet that consists of insects and small rodents.
