Spinecheek anemonefish (Premnas biaculeatus). This anemonefish has a symbiotic relationship with the anemone Entacmaea quadricolor. It is protected from predators by the stinging tentacles of the anemone (to which it is immune),and the fish cleans the anemone by feeding on parasites such as algae and zooplankton. This fish is found on reefs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific region, and can reach a length of 17 centimetres. The juveniles and males are bright red in colour.
