Coral cod (Cephalopholis miniata) in front of a sea fan,or gorgonian. The coral cod is a type of grouper. It is a predator,feeding mainly on small shoaling fish but also feeding on crustaceans on occasion. It is found down to depths of around 150 metres in tropical waters in the Indo-Pacific region.
