Broadclub cuttlefish. Close-up of the head of a broadclub cuttlefish (Sepia latimanus). This cuttlefish is found in the tropical Indo-Pacific region. It is able to rapidly change the colour of its skin by dilating or contracting pigment cells called chromatophores. It preys on crustaceans, which it catches with a quick strike of its two tentacles, which are usually kept hidden among its eight arms. It can grow to lengths of 45 centimetres.
