Steam coach. Historical artwork of a steam coach patented by Englishman David Gordon around the 1820s. At this time engineers became occupied with creating steam-powered coaches for paying customers. Gordon's design had legs and feet (lower centre),in imitation of horses,in addition to wheels. It was not a very successful vehicle.
