The libuelle (dragonfly) microdrone weighs only 120 milligrams,is 6 centimetres wide, and has wafer-thin silicon wings that flap when powered by electricity. Microdrones, also known as MAVs (micro air vehicles),are being designed for a wide range of surveillance purposes. The 'dragonfly' microdrone is being developed by the French company SilMach.
