The increasing yellowness of the Milky Way toward the edge of the picture is due to the thickening of the atmosphere near the horizon. The photograph was taken from Ayers Rock,Australia. Original of 120 Fuji 400D pushed to ISO 1000. 12- min exposure with 80mm lens at f/4
