| Men overpowering a wild horse (Equus caballus). This is part of a Spanish festival known as 'la rapa das bestas' (the shearing of the beasts). During this festival,which traces its origins to the 16th century,the wild horses from the surrounding mountains are herded into a stone- walled pen (curros).
