Bach remedy. View of a Bach remedy used to treat illness being put into a glass of water using a dropper. Bach remedies were developed by the English physician Edward Bach (1880-1936) who believed that all illnesses were due to a physiological or psychological imbalance within the body. These could be treated using medicinal extracts of plants which he thought were released into spring water in sunlight. The 38 remedies he created were designed to treat the whole person and not just their symptoms. Each remedy is supplied in a concentrated form and must first be diluted. It can then be taken in water (as here) or by dropping it directly onto the tongue | |
