Henoch-Schonlein purpura causes the inflammation of small blood vessels,which leak blood into the skin,joints,kidneys and intestines. It is most common among young boys,although its precise cause is unknown. Along with the skin rash,Henoch-Schonlein purpura may also cause joint stiffness and blood in the urine and faeces.
