| Franz Xaver,Baron von Zach (1754-1832),Hungarian noble and astronomer. Von Zach was director of the observatory at Gotha,Germany,and published observations on the Sun in 1792. He is best remembered as the editor of three scientific journals,including Correspondance astronomique,geographique,hydrographique,et statistique (1818-1826).
