The panel will be used to protect the frescoes found in this Roman archaeological site,Vila Augustea. This is the villa of Augustus (63 BC-14 AD),the first Roman emperor. It was discovered in the 1930s,buried beneath layers of mud and ash that resulted from several eruptions of Mount Vesuvius.
