Palaeoanthropologist analysing fossils. Jacopo Moggi-Cecchi of the University of the Witwatersrand analysing fossils discovered by Andre Keyser in 1994. Two Australopithecus robustus skulls, including the almost complete skull and lower jaw of a female and a male mandible, were discovered at the Drimolen cave in South Africa. Their estimated age is between 1.5 and 2.0 million years old,and the species would have lived successfully for nearly a million years alongside species with our own genus,Homo.
